I have now completed my Comenius workshop and funding has been received to begin our European project.  The Comenius project is funded by the British Council and encourages schools from across Europe to apply for funding to work on joint projects in order to enrich the learning of the children in their schools.

 

We are working with Slagstaskolan [translate] in Sweden, Hale School in Farnham and Volksschule Absdorf [translate] and Volksschule Stainach in Austria on developing reading skills – both through sharing books, assessment opportunities and communication through IT.

 

Our first meeting is here in Farnham on the 11th- 13th November.  I hope you will take the opportunity to welcome our visitors.
