Comic Relief
This year, Red Nose Day organised by Comic Relief is on 13th March. The theme is “Do Something Funny”. We would like the children to wear red on that day and to do their hair in a funny hairstyle. They can tie it up, colour it, wear a wig - whatever they would like to! Please bring 50p to school towards Comic Relief.
As part of Comic Relief, children are being encouraged to decide where the money they raised is going to and they can vote on the school website to indicate their preference.
We hope Red Nose Day will be fun and serious all at the same time. And of course you can wear your red nose to school as long as you have your name on it!
Mr Hancock will also be making money for Comic Relief! He will be tied to the school railings from 8.45 - 9.05am on Red Nose Day. Children can pay 50p for the pleasure of throwing a wet sponge at him. The charge for adults will be £1.
